A supplier of truck
components had a serious problem. Their product performance
was not up to design standards. The problem was machining
that resulted in dimensional problems that compromised the
integrity of the component. The assembly line was struggling
and schedules were becoming impossible to meet.
The customer asked if Nowak Machined Products could help.
We worked with the raw component manufacturer and the end-customer’s
engineering group to re-design the machining approach and
eliminated the problem entirely. Immediately product performance
was increased and scheduling headaches disappeared.
